I always thought that the idea that we’d meet our loved ones again in heaven was a soft lie we told those who had lost someone close. I always thought that I’d be so busy worshiping God to even notice my loved ones around me. But, having done a bit of hunting, I think that the idea of people once separated being reunited isn’t as far off piece as I once thought.
It may surprise you that I started my digging not in the book of Revelation but in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. Why? Because one of the main themes of Paul’s letter is unity. He, in typically long winded sentences, discusses four types of unity that comes about in Jesus. (read more)
